Paul letter to the Ephesian church was one that was intensely personal. He spent around 2 years there, which is longer than his typical stay because of the favor he found there, and when he left, he left his spiritual son, Timothy, in charge. Paul wrote to the Ephesians under house arrest in Rome, the first of two imprisonments, and didn't know if he would see the Ephesians again.
With all this mind, Paul, in his letter to the church in Ephesus, in chapter 2, is preaching the gospel to them. The message that he first began his ministry with, is the message he is writing to the Ephesians of what Paul may expect to be the end of his life. Check out Sam's sermon of Ephesians 2 that he preached at Grace Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, TN on June 5, 2016.
