Last week we hosted a Connect Space in our home as an Italian Aperitivo. 15 millennials showed up to our house, all living on the Upper West Side. Some of the women had only moved to the city a couple of weeks before. We were excited to see relationships forming, and for new connections being made. Amongst those there we had a retired Navy officer who is now working in banking, a PhD student studying music education and a marketing consultant.
Cru Millennials is hoping to empower 20 millennials this Fall to host connect spaces in their homes or at a location in their neighborhood. The vision is that God would use these spaces as a way to mobilize millennials to be God's agents in their neighborhoods across New York City. As we are creating safe places for connection, we are hoping that millennials will be initiaitng life changing relationships, and as God sovereignly brings non-believers into these spaces, that He would use millennials to usher others into the Kingdom.
